Community Action For Improvement, Inc. is a private non-profit organization founded in 1966. CAFI has provided services for over 25 years to low-income persons in a five-county service area including Carroll, Coweta, Heard, Meriwether, and Troup counties.

Services Provided: Assists poverty, low income homes with energy assistance, utility assistance and home weatherization. Rent must be over 30 days late. Must make an appointment and apply online at www.cafi-ga.org

Offers Client Service Connection Support Centered in an approach aligned with client self-sufficiency, resource & referral, and direct client resources. CAFI also provides comprehensive service connections to low-income clients. Including: Referrals for Veterans Benefits
