Safe Families for Children (SFFC) is a national family preservation movement committed to keeping children safe and families together. We desire to prevent child abuse and decrease the number of children unnecessarily entering the foster care system. SFFC seeks to reframe how families are served and supported when facing challenging and unmanageable circumstances. The goal is to provide a safe alternative for parents and help build strong, resilient families in the communities.

Safe Families provide a safe home for children and a supportive community for parents while they get back on their feet. Parents are provided with the space and support they need to address the issues impacting their ability to provide the best environment for their children. This network of relationships keep children from entering the foster care system, and ultimately, helps keeps families together.
