The United Way works to promote Education, Health and Basic Needs for all citizens in West Georgia. United Way of West Georgia’s mission is to increase the organized capacity of people in Central Georgia communities to care for one another, and by working collaboratively, to disrupt the cycle of poverty in local communities. This national organization helps raise funds through individual contributions and allocate them to benefit civic and charitable programs and organizations in local communities.
