The Literacy Volunteers of Troup County provides free tutoring for adults and children (ages 12 and older). They also offer one-on-one tutoring in reading with a program called Reading Horizons, basic math to Algebra, basic computer skills, typing, Internet skills, and Microsoft Office. Tutoring services are catered to the needs of the person. The program also provides reading and writing instruction for non-literate adults on a one-on-one basis. Trains volunteers to be reading and writing tutors.
