Since 1990, the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra has been enriching the local community through music. Reaching across a broad spectrum of ages and interests, that have played an integral role in the LaGrange – Troup County arts scene. Whether performing selections from classic composers or premiering new works from today’s modern musical catalog, the orchestra demonstrates exquisite quality and musical versatility throughout each season.

The organization also provides a wide range of programs for youth. Each spring the the Orchestra partners with music educators in Troup, Chambers and Meriwether Counties to present an enriching orchestral Children’s Concert. These concerts involve over 2,400 area public, private, and home-schooled children. The Symphony also brings the magic of music into local schools with its Musicians in Schools program. This endeavor sends small ensembles into area classrooms, reaching 1,500 children annually.
